Home support services
Liverpool Plains Home Support Program delivers a range of services and programs for our residents aged over 65 (or 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders) who need assistance to keep living independently at home and within their community. Our focus is on reablement and wellness for residents and service and support for carers.

Quirindi Home Support Services
Should you require transport to or from any of our activities, lease advise at the time of booking.
Shopping Access Car
The shopping access car can be booked by calling the Home Support office on (02) 6746 4545. The car will pick you up form your home and deliver you and your parcels back home. If you need assistance, a carer will be in the car to help you with your shopping.

Tamworth Shopping / Medical Bus
The Tamworth shopping and medical appointment bus runs on the third Tuesday of each month to Tamworth. The bus departs from Quirindi Home Support Centre at 8:30am. Carers are on the bus to provide assistance if required.

Hydrotherapy Pool Bus
The hydrotherapy pool bus runs weekly every Thursday afternoon and picks up passengers in Quirindi, Werris Creek and Currabubula. The bus departs Quirindi at 11:45 am and will return at approximately 4:00 pm.

Mens Day Outing
The Mens day outing is held on the third Friday of each month. Morning tea and lunch are provided with carers on the bust at all times. Assistance is available if required.
Cost: $25.00
Mens Lunch
The Mens Lunch is held on the second Wednesday of each month starting at 12:30 pm.
Cost: own expenses
Ladies Day Lunch
The Ladies Day Lunch is held on the first Wednesday of each month for good food, good company and social interaction.

Craft Day
The Craft Days are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Quirindi Home Support Centre. Morning tea is provided.

Ladies Day Outing
The Ladies Day outing is held on the fourth Friday of each month. Carers are on the bus at all times to provide assistance if required. Morning tea and lunch are provided.

Meals on Wheels

Royal Theatre Movie Day
The Royal Theatre Movie Day is held regularly throughout the year for Senior's Movie Day. Bus fare, morning tea and movie tickets included.

HOY!
HOY! is a social game held every fourth Tuesday of the month at the Quirindi Home Support Centre. Morning tea is provided.

Werris Creek Home Support Services

Shopping Access Bus
The shopping access bus runs every second Friday morning in Werris Creek, transporting passengers to the local shopping centre. A carer us always on the bus to provide assistance where needed.

Tamworth Appointment Bus
The Tamworth appointment bus runs on the last Monday of each month to Tamworth. Priority is given to passengers with appointments however spare seats may be available for shoppers. Carers and staff are available on the bus to provide assistance if needed.

Men's Group
The Men's group meets on the last Tuesday of each month for an outing. Morning tea and lunch are provided. Carers are on the bus at all times to provide assistance if required.

Carer's Cuppa
Come along for a cuppa at the Werris Creek Pharmacy. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. The Carer's Cuppa could include an outing, a guest speaker and respite information.

Ladies Day Lunch
The Ladies Day Lunch is held on the second Monday of each month at the Railway Hotel, Werris Creek. Come along for good food, good company and social interaction.

Craft Day
The Craft Day is held on the last Tuesday of each month at the Werris Creek CWA rooms (Henry Street). Morning tea and lunch are provided.
Cost: $8.00
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is available for all areas of the Liverpool Plains. Meals can be provided 7 days per week and start at $8.50 including sweets.
