EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Liverpool Plains Shire Council Local Advisory Groups

Liverpool Plains Shire Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from community members to join a Local Advisory Group (LAGs).

The LAGs act as an advisory body to Council.  The purpose of the LAGs is to provide strategic advice to Council in respect of matters affecting the local community and identify opportunities to promote local community development.

One LAG may operate at each of the following communities/settlements – Blackville, Currabubula, Premer, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Warrah, Willow Tree and Werris Creek.

If you are interested in becoming a member, the LAGs Terms of Reference are available via this link Local Advisory Group terms of reference. The Terms of Reference includes an overview of committee members responsibilities, obligations, membership criteria and general operating guidelines.

Expression of Interest forms can be downloaded from the link below or obtained from Council’s Administration Office, Quirindi Library and Werris Creek Library and the Willow Tree Visitor Information Centre.
