Liverpool Plains Shire Council (LPSC) is pleased to announce the commencement of works at the Council Administration Building located at 60 Station Street, Quirindi, NSW.

We are undertaking significant improvements to enhance accessibility for all members of our community.

The planned works include:

  • Demolition and upgrade of existing amenities to include disabled access toilets.
  • Widening of five internal doors for better accessibility.
  • Upgrades to the access ramp into the building.

These upgrades are a crucial part of LPSC’s commitment to ensuring that no individual is excluded from accessing our premises. By improving disabled access, we are not only supporting our community members and visitors but also reinforcing our dedication to equal employment opportunities.

These upgrades are thanks to funding from State Government through the Stronger Country Community Funding initiatives, ensuring our facilities are compliant with The Disability (Access to Premises-Buildings) Standards 2010.
