February has been a busy month here in the Liverpool Plains, with several events held across the shire. The Quirindi Ute Muster and Show and the Sunflower Festival at the Rural Heritage Village were both held this past weekend, and while the Quirindi Cup Day Races were unfortunately cancelled, we still had a lot of visitors in town, including many who’d come up for the races and chose to stay on

Council’s General Manager, Cian Middleton, said Mr Gallagher brings considerable experience in local government leadership roles, most recently as General Manager at Coonamble Shire Council.
