Disability Inclusion Action Plan Community Workshop
Liverpool Plains Shire Council is developing a new Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) to guide how we will make our community more inclusive and accessible for our residents and visitors, regardless of ability.
We invite input and feedback from all members of the Liverpool Plains Shire community, especially people with disability, carers and support people, and local disability service providers. Your feedback will help shape the priorities and approaches in our new DIAP.
At the community workshop we will discuss:
- What inclusion means to you
- Barriers that are faced by people with a disability seeking to participate in community life
- Barriers that are faced by people with a disability in accessing places, events, activities and programs within the community
- Difficulties faced by people with a disability when looking for work
- Barriers to accessing services
