Background
The Draft Council Related Development Policy (Draft Policy) aims to manage potential conflicts of interest and increase transparency at all stages of the development process for council-related development
Council has a range of functions including the function as a development regulator. Council can also be a developer, landowner, land manager or hold a commercial interest in the land it regulates. The Draft Policy seeks manage any potential conflicts of interest between these functions.
The Draft Policy is based on the guidelines and model policy provided by the Department of Planning.
Exhibition Period: 26 February 2025 to 26 March 2025
