Library services

The Liverpool Plains Shire has two libraries, both of which form part of a larger network of 15 libraries known as the Central Northern Regional Library (CNRL).

Membership of the CNRL is free to all residents of the Liverpool Plains Shire.

Each library offers a range of books, magazines, audio books, CDs and DVDs for loan, research facilities, computer and internet access as well as a comprehensive online catalogue, reservation and request system.

Online databases available to members include Ancestry.com, Encyclopaedia Britannica Online and Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre as well as other sources of information for research, study and recreation.

Public use computers with free internet access are available at both the Quirindi and Werris Creek branches. Free wifi is also available.
