Liverpool Plains Shire Council is working with Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) to have Gap Road repaired as quickly as possible.
At this stage, it is anticipated the road will be repaired and operational by the end of September, weather and construction conditions permitting.
While works are underway to repair the road, traffic diversions will remain in place and ARTC and Council will continue to keep the community updated on the progress of the works and when the road will reopen.
