PLANNING PROPOSAL EXHIBITION

Planning Proposal No.         PP-3023-1202

Notice is hereby given that a Planning Proposal has been prepared by Liverpool Plains Shire Council to amend the Liverpool Plains Local Environmental Plan 2011 (LP LEP) and is available for public comment during the public exhibition.

Details of Planning Proposal:

The objective of the proposed LP LEP amendment is to prevent the use of the minimum lot size requirements for dwellings in previous LEPs being used to establish a dwelling on a rural lot that is below the current rural subdivision minimum via Clause 4.2A(3)(b) of the LP LEP.

The proposed amendment will be drafted such that development consent for a dwelling can still be granted under Clause 4.2A(3)(b) for lots below the existing subdivision minimum in other circumstances, such as:

• A lot resulting from a subdivision for which development consent was granted (and on which a dwelling could have been erected) under the planning scheme that applied immediately prior to the current LP LEP.
• A “existing holding” as defined by the planning scheme that applied immediately prior to the current LP LEP.

Exhibition Period:     Wednesday 8 November 2023 to Friday 8 December 2023

Written submissions can be made up until the day the exhibition period ends.
